About

Nate PetersonDirector of Promotions

A fourth-generation apostolic, raised in the Church, Nate left for home for college at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and fell into a sinful lifestyle of partying and living for himself, turning his back on God.  He struggled in school but earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. His son Xander was born two days after graduation. Thankfully, God’s grace and mercy endures forever and after 12 years apart from God, Nate hit bottom and responded to the inseparable love of God Him as God miraculously delivered him from alcohol and drugs, redeeming and restoring his life and calling Him to ministry.

Nate married the love of his life, Becka in 2013 and graduated from Purpose Institute in 2014 with an Advanced Diploma of Ministerial Studies. Nate and Becka started a CMI bible study in their home, just a block from the UW-Milwaukee campus in 2013, which moved onto the UW-Milwaukee campus in 2015. They continue to lead the local CMI Chapter today. Nate became the CMI District Coordinator for Wisconsin in 2016 and CMI Director of Promotions with the National Team in 2018. Nate, Becka, and Xander also welcomed Lydia to the family in 2016 and Canaan in 2018.

Nate’s message for college students is that there is nothing in this world that compares to the love, joy, and peace found in Jesus Christ and no matter how many steps you may have taken away from God in your life, you’re never more than one step from Him.
